1. About BestLife4U

BestLife4U is an online legal document preparation service operated by Kettering Professional Enterprises, a Maine-based company. BestLife4U provides self-help document preparation services and general legal information.

BestLife4U is not a law firm and does not provide legal advice. No attorney-client relationship is created by using this service. The documents and information provided are not a substitute for the advice of a licensed attorney. You should consult a licensed attorney in your state for advice specific to your situation before signing any legal document.

2. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using BestLife4U, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree with any part of these terms, you may not use the service. These terms apply to all visitors, users, and others who access or use the service.

3. Description of Services

BestLife4U offers the following self-help document preparation services:

Divorce and separation document preparation
Parenting plan preparation
Estate planning documents (Medical Power of Attorney, Durable Financial Power of Attorney, Basic Will, Advance Healthcare Directive)
Life transition coaching sessions (provided by independent life transition coaches, not attorneys)

Documents are generated based solely on information you provide through our guided intake process. BestLife4U does not review your documents for legal sufficiency, accuracy, or appropriateness for your specific circumstances.

4. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years of age to use BestLife4U. By using the service, you represent and warrant that you are 18 or older, have the legal capacity to enter into contracts in your state, and will use the service only for lawful purposes.

5. Account Registration

Certain features require you to create an account. You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration and to keep your account credentials secure. You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account. Notify us immediately at support@bestlife4u.app if you believe your account has been compromised.

6. Payments and Refunds

All fees are clearly disclosed before you complete a purchase. Payments are processed securely through Stripe. All purchases are final and non-refundable once a document has been generated, except as required by applicable law or at our sole discretion in cases of documented technical failure.

For multi-payment products (such as parenting plans with a retainer and final payment), each payment installment is processed at the stage described at the time of purchase.

7. Document Generation and Limitations

Documents generated by BestLife4U are based entirely on the information you enter. You are responsible for the accuracy and completeness of all information provided. BestLife4U makes no guarantee that documents generated will:

Be accepted by any court, government agency, or third party
Comply with the specific requirements of your state or jurisdiction
Achieve any particular legal outcome
Be suitable for your specific legal situation

All documents should be reviewed by a licensed attorney in your state before signing or filing.

8. Coaching Services

Life transition coaching sessions are provided by independent coaches, not attorneys or licensed mental health professionals. Coaching is not therapy, counseling, legal advice, or financial advice. 9. Intellectual Property

The BestLife4U platform, including its software, design, content, and trademarks, is owned by Kettering Professional Enterprises and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws. Documents you generate using your own information are yours. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works of our platform or proprietary content without written permission.

10. Disclaimer of Warranties

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, OR NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR THAT DEFECTS WILL BE CORRECTED.

11. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, KETTERING PROFESSIONAL ENTERPRISES AND ITS OFFICERS, DIRECTORS, EMPLOYEES, AND AGENTS SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING LOST PROFITS, ARISING OUT OF OR RELATING TO YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE, EVEN IF ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES. IN NO EVENT SHALL OUR TOTAL LIABILITY EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US IN THE TWELVE (12) MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM.

12. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Maine, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes arising under these Terms shall be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Maine, and you consent to personal jurisdiction in those courts.

13. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will provide notice of material changes by updating the effective date at the top of this page and, where appropriate, by notifying you by email. Your continued use of the service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
